What is food intolerance?
Food intolerance is different from allergies. An allergy sees the body trigger IgE antibodies immediately upon consuming a particular food. Allergies can cause serious symptoms, like difficulty breathing, an itchy rash or swelling, even anaphylactic shock.

If left untreated, symptoms can lead to serious health problems including diabetes, osteoporosis, anemia, hyperthyroidism, myocardial ischemia, bowel cancer and gastritis.
